How to be an Arts Advocate: Turns Out You Can't Burn it All Down

Well Fed Artists Workshop Series

by [nueBOX] and Creative Catalysts

Creative Catalysts has partnered with nueBOX to bring you more FREE workshops for makers trying to make it!

Description: Arts are a powerful tool for engaging with our neighbors and our community, yet our communities are thoroughly disconnected from the local political processes. Are the artists in your community visible in your neighborhood? Learn how to work with local government and become visible, and to get local government to work with you. Where can you look to advocate for community and arts? What works? What tools are available to engage your community’s creative energies? Learn from our wins and losses, home-runs and swings-and-misses.

All workshops are free and open to everyone. This workshop will be held at Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum in the Classroom. You can register for the workshop at: https://nuebox.ticketleap.com/wfaws1/dates/
